The Ministry

Every neighborhood, every city, has seen and knows new hope grouping the demands placed on single moms and women in crises in these times. Historically, single moms have lived below the poverty level. They carry the burden of financial planning for the family, aware that unless they work and carry on, their children will lack. Often times, they are plagued with issues of fear, loneliness, and betrayal. They are faced with performing a dual role within the home, that of nurturer and disciplinarian.

The New Hope Moms' Ministry seeks to reveal the love of Christ Jesus to moms and women in need as we build relationship with them. We believe that we are called to walk alongside and meet those God sends in their everyday issues of life. Relying on a power that is not our own, New Hope focuses on providing encouragement and support, accountability and hope, as we spend time engaging in the lives of these women and their families. We also offer help with various life skills and practical needs when able, directing them tonew hope grouping2 necessary community resources. Application of the Gospel to daily living through prayer, bible study, and fellowship is woven into the fabric of this ministry. Read about recent changes underway In New Hope

The Mission

New Hope is committed to being a place, and a people, where women from all socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds can come together to receive strength and encouragement in hard times, to share their joys and their sorrows. Through Spirit-led deeds of justice and mercy, we endeavor to live as ambassadors of Christ, as vessels of His love and grace. We desire that the women God sends through New Hope will experience renewed hope, strength, peace and joy, as they taste the goodness of the Lord. New Hope strives to help women move in the direction of a restored relationship with God and others. We also seek to be used by God as an instrument of change to train and equip women to continue in the Spirit of Godliness, to love and serve others, extending His justice and mercy to all.
